Frequently asked questions
5–7 working days for a standard bathroom — the programme WEPRO works to, and the one customers describe in the reviews on this site. Larger rooms, wet rooms, layout changes and work discovered after strip-out take longer. The programme depends on the agreed scope, drying times, material lead times and any work discovered after strip-out. The expected sequence and timing should be confirmed in the written project scope before work begins.
Prices start from €1,499. The advertised ‘from’ price is the minimum for a small, straightforward scope. It is not a typical price for a full renovation. The final written quote depends on measurements, preparation, materials, access and the agreed specification.
WEPRO Renovations provides a 10-year guarantee. The exact project-specific terms are included with the written quote; separate manufacturer warranties depend on the products selected.
The required standards depend on the work proposed. The written scope should identify the relevant drainage, access, ventilation, electrical and gas requirements, along with the responsible regulated contractors where applicable.
Include any customer-supplied products in the enquiry. Their sizes, ratings, condition and installation requirements need to be checked before the final scope is agreed.
In Irish quotes the words are used interchangeably — and so are bathroom installers, bathroom fitters and, if you have been searching from abroad, bathroom remodelers. That is worth knowing before you compare prices. In practice a refit usually means replacing the suite and finishes while the layout and services stay where they are; a refurbishment adds putting right what is behind them — substrate, waterproofing, ventilation; a renovation is the room rebuilt, often with services moved. What matters is not the word on the quote but which of the three it prices, so ask every contractor to state the strip-out extent, the preparation and the waterproofing in writing.
One team. WEPRO carries the tiling, plumbing modifications, waterproofing, carpentry and finishing, so you are not coordinating a fitter, a tiler and a plumber against each other's dates. Electrical and gas work is assigned to appropriately registered contractors where required, and who is responsible for what is identified in the written scope.
Yes, and it is usually the cheapest way to get a new room. Keeping the WC, basin and shower in their existing positions removes the drainage and first-fix work that carries most of the cost difference between quotes. That scope starts from €1,499 for a small straightforward room. Whether the existing positions are worth keeping is a survey question — if the substrate under them has failed, replacing the surface alone buys you a few years, not a bathroom.
