How the room gets built

The old suite and floor come out and the structure is checked. In the town's older terraces the joists decide whether a former can be let in; in the estates it is usually a slab and a screed.

Full membrane system to floor and wet walls, junctions and pipe penetrations taped. It then has to cure. This is the day that cannot be compressed.

Anti-slip R10/R11 porcelain set out around the drain, grouted and sealed, then glass, brassware and rails, a snag walk-through and a clean-down.
5–7 working days, start to handover, for a straightforward single room — the programme WEPRO confirms for a standard bathroom. The cure time on the tanking is the part nobody can shorten: a two-day wet room has skipped either that or the floor build-up.
